Rules for 2026

The 2026 Ilford Orloff Awards Rules Document is now available for download.

At over 70 pages, it is comprehensive, so please consider whether you really need to print the full document. To make it easier to navigate, the document includes an interactive table of contents, along with a “Back to Top” link on each page to return you to the contents quickly.

The good news is that not all pages will apply to every entrant. You only need to read the sections relevant to the way you plan to enter.

We strongly encourage entrants to take the time to read the rules carefully, ideally with a cup of tea, a quiet moment, and perhaps the knowledge that you do not need to memorise all 75 pages. If you are unsure where to start, please refer to the Key Dates section of the website for details about the Entry Information Session, where you can ask questions and find out more before submitting your entry.
