Held on Thursday 5 November 2026, this special evening will bring together photographers, videographers, judges, sponsors, industry leaders, supporters, and the wider creative community to celebrate professional photography, professional video, and the enduring beauty of printed photographic work.

The evening will include the 2026 Awards presentation, the official opening of the Ilford Orloff Awards exhibition, and the first opportunity to view this year’s finalist and award-winning prints on display. It is a chance to recognise the skill, creativity, storytelling, and dedication of Western Australian image-makers, while celebrating the craft of photography in print.

You do not need to be an entrant to attend. Everyone is welcome to come along, support the finalists, meet members of the photographic community, and enjoy an exhibition that celebrates the strength and diversity of professional image-making in Western Australia.

This year will also include some changes to the event format, with further details to be announced closer to the date. The evening will include time to gather, connect, and celebrate after the awards presentation, with food included as part of the ticket. Ticket pricing and booking details will be released soon.

The exhibition will open from 5 November 2026 and is expected to remain on display at the State Library of Western Australia for at least three months.
