Student Category

10.1    These category rules are to be read in conjunction with the General Rules.

10.2    For a student photographer to be eligible to submit a student entry, they must be at least 18 years or over at the time of submission and enrolled in a photography course with an Australian Registered Training Organisation at Certificate IV level or higher.

10.3    Student entrants are limited to submitting single images; folio entries are not permitted by student entrants.

10.4    Student entrants are eligible to enter a single image to any category, with a maximum of three images per subcategory or category (when a subcategory is not available). All the other `general' rules, category and subcategory rules apply, except for this rule, and the restriction on entering folios as stated in rule 10.3.

10.5    Student entries will be judged within nominated categories and subcategories, alongside the other entries. Student entrants are eligible for “Student Photographer of the Year”. However, Student entries are not eligible for any other category or subcategory prizes.
